I wonder how many people each one that was there represents that were not there  ??   I think the numbers would "Boggle" the poloticians     ...   course FOX is the only one really giving the coverage that it deserves ....

Thanks To All Who Made It to DC.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I was thinking about you yesterday as I watched some of Fox's coverage knowing I wouldn't be seeing any significant coverage anywhere else. It was mentioned on ABC's This Week in passing but there was many more words mentioned about the spirited 15 thousand attending Obama's Minnesota rally.  Roll Eyes

As for the DC event I really think it was great seeing this all carried out in such a well mannered and somewhat jovial manner taking place with a large group of real Americans who normally don't do this kind of thing. They have been living their lives taking care of their own needs and wants believing this kind of action wasn't really necessary believing their government wasn't really a threat to them. That is the way it should be with a good government properly operating within the restraints of the constitution.

I sure hope the politicians take significant heed of the real folks out in the country or the next protest march just may be carried out with much less of an jovial attitude.

Again thanks for going and letting us see you pictures there and hope to see pictures of all the big crappie you will be catching today.

The best part of being there was the march down Pennsylvania Avenue.  We started the march about a mile from the Capitol Building.  The most popular chants were "USA" and "You Lie! You Lie!".  The neatest thing was the sound wave.  We were around half way down Pennsylvania Avenue and you would hear a loud roar from the crowd way behind you that would get louder and louder as it neared you.  Then everyone near you would yell and the sound wave would continue forward.  You had to be there to experience it, it was awesome.  Once we got to the Capitol Building we were too far back to hear any of the speeches.  The sound system was not ready for such a large crowd.  This is the first time that I have every done anything like this but it was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.

TP1964

Really appreciate these Pixs    ....

I really got irritated at what Axelrod had to say on CBS "Face The Nation"

Said the TeaParty did not represent the majority of Americans   ...  what a "Spit In THe Face"  ... They are going to be "Spinning" this in all kinds of ways  .. if ... they choose to mention this by the News Media   ....

I understand that plans for the next one is in progress at this time for "Our Country Deserves Better Committee"

You people that make the trip represent many of us who could not make it  .. the least we can do that cannot make it is to give a little financial (SP) aid to them.   You all ready have us behind You.

Thanx again

TapOut1964

You were part of a transformative event on 9/12.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/09/912_was_a_transformative_event.html

Just a few tidbits from that link.

".......... I want you to know the attendees were wonderful people, civil and polite. They showed their respect for the Capitol and the event by leaving no mess behind when they were through, in marked contrast to the inauguration and the usual left wing demonstrations here."

"We are witnessing a very rare phenomenon, the genuine, broad based spontaneous political movement with no visible charismatic leaders. "

"Everyone in the political class, journalists, consultants, elected Democrats and Republicans alike, needs to know this: Those countless little-known people who established the local e-mail lists, organized first one, then two, then three or more chartered buses, held sign-making parties and packed box lunches, are not going to go away any time soon. Continue to enact legislation that we cannot afford and they will be back, perhaps in even greater numbers."

Appreciate the pictures and the post.........could not go.........but felt like I was there.
The news media might not be posting the info right or pictures..........
but with blogs such as this, among many others, we have 24/7 news updates that they cannot
keep lying to us.  THE TRUTH SHALL PREVIAL

In the process of getting e-mails, phone numbers for our congressional leaders.
As Glenn Beck, let lock them down until the corrporution stops

Hey Tap. In all seriousness, just wanted to thank you for your time off from your life for this cause. You have inspired me, and I hope in the future I can organize and take it to the streets. I think it's time for everyone in the country and get dirty, take some risks, and spend some money. Or we will find ourselves indentured servants to a central system.

BTW-  mind if I share some of those pics in my circle of friends and family? No one seems to know that a possible million people marched on DC.

AWESUM!!!!

unfortunately the Democratic Congress and POTUS has now taken the stance that our protests don't represent the majority of the country. They now say they are fighting for the rights of the "Silent Majority".

I'm starting to get worried. When the government stops listening to the majority of peaceful Americans how do we get their attention?
