Being the far right nut job that I am....

I knew this a long time ago based on my own research. Google is notoriously hard left, with intently skewed search results. Today on FOX it was confirmed (to an extent), that Google has been avoiding certain search results, greatly misleading users. Case in point- Type in the words "Islam is". You get very benign innocent results. Type in the words "Christianity is", and be prepared to get angry. Google calls it a "bug". Some bug, it's lasted many years (to my personal knowledge). If you use Bing, and I do, you get far different results from Google.

A similar event took place with Google vs WND. World net Daily filed a formal complaint with Google recently (I learned this via Christian radio) because placed their hard work exposing Obama on a back-burner, making their search results hard to find. Same with Yahoo(also hard left), in the same week. That's some "coincidence".

Try typing in "why are ____" into google. You can insert muslims, christians, conservatives, liberals, black people, white people, Americans, French people, Obama, Bush, etc. Here is one that you won't get pissed about, type in "why are atheists" and compare the returns to entering "why are theists" into the search field.

It is a non-issue, but if you want to freak out about it and list this quirk as one more reason we need armed revolt, go for it. Check out the videos on youtube (a google service) regarding Islam -- not very flattering. Fine by me, but I'm a logical nut-job-American-patriot that believes religious fundamentalism, whether it is Christian or Islamic, represents a pestilent delusion that needs to be eradicated. The Christian faith, just like the Islamic faith, is based upon an anachronistic mythology that has a track record of violence and denial of fact, both in the context of historical interpretation and with regard to science.

You're going into islam vs Christianity. The thread is only pointing out the obviously high biased Google, and the fact they have been exposed via national news.

Did you try what I suggested Bactu? Type in "why are muslims" and look at the largely negative results. I wish it worked in the instance you pointed out too, that would make me happy. I would never see reason to pit Christianity against Islam because as far as I'm concerned they are the same damn thing. Islamic tradition has produced some might fine rugs and some great mathematics, where as Christianity has produced some mighty fine theorists -- many centuries ago. What do they have to offer us now other than some beautiful aesthetics?

If you were to consider your original point to be conclusive evidence of Islamic apologetics, or undue sympathy, on behalf of google, why do the negative stereotypes pop up when you type what I suggested. Again, I will reiterate, I wish they did pop up in every instance -- Islam, just like Christianity, is a baseless system of believe based on a strange mythology that has little to offer the modern human other than a fulcrum to leverage cultural polarities.

Respectful to you JC, I won't lie. No I did not do that search. The reason being, this is a long time problem with Google. The words Christianity or Islam is.... Think about the impact of this. Not vs, no obvious smear. Just simple innocent searched with scuzzy results base on raw comparison ina controled experiment. Google has known for years, and like Yahoo, they are hard left wingers with clear agendas. It's usual - we love islam only because we hate Christians and have no clue why. Why else is Gitmo such a problem?
