Well, I had it out with one of the Washington staffers in the office of my state representative, John Tanner.  I've called every day this week and get the same line of crap on every call - "he's undecided - not making a decision until the final legislation is written."  Excuse me, what about the overwhelming majority of his constuents that keep telling him we don't want it in its current form!!!!!!!!   I talked to a staffer this morning and when I wanted to talk about the CBO scoring he actually hung up on me.   (Just for the record, I did NOT curse at him, but I did get a little loud because he kept cutting me off)So, I just kept hitting redial until I got through again, and gee whiz, I got a different staffer this time!  I proceeded to tell her that I didn't appreciate being hung up on since I pay their salaries.    One thing that really gets my goat is that they think we're stupid and ignorant.  Every call I make is met with contempt and condescension.  They just can't accept that we are informed and staying on top of the issues, which is why when I started calling them out on the facts, I got hung up on.    I can hardly wait until November.
