Cigarette tax hiked a dollar a pack here.  50 bucks a carton to smoke.  Wow.  The state of Tn just announced that any state employee that smokes or any member of the family on TN insurance will have a 600 dollar a year surcharge added to their insurance premium.  wow.  That ought fix things...

Fair warning - I'm fixin to be a cranky sob - ok, more so than usual.

I've been thinking for awhile now that I am acting as an "enabler" by foolishly
giving the man extra monies that I could avoid by quitting.

Fifty dollars a carton will just about seal the deal.

Of course when enough people quit, they'll find some other way to get it out of us.
Another thought, I bet this doesn't affect cigars, does it?  Nothing against a good
stogie, but everybody ought to share the load, ESPECIALLY politicians.
Of course they might make the argument that they don't actually smoke them,
that they are only sexual aids  Grin
